Responsibilities :
- Coordinate multiple orders with customers, internal team, transport brokers, steamship lines, suppliers, and warehouses
- Arranging inspections, shipping arrangements, preparing or gathering shipping documents, reading + updating + sharing customer’s requirement with vendors, partners and others within the organization, keeping a tracking log on PO status
- Develop and manage assigned customers
- Coordinate Airfreight, Seafreight, Overland and Customs brokerage services;
- Service all orders, quotes, follow-ups and customer communication;
- Other duties as may be assigned to you from time to time by the Company.
Qualifications :
- 3+ years’ experience in freight forwarding / logistics / transportation industry required
- Intimate understanding of major steamship lines' practices and procedures [Maersk, HAPAG, CMA-CGM, etc...]
- Sales & Account management experience preferred
- Strong understanding of Canadian frozen food market as well as food export and import requirements and regulations
- Must be self-motivated with a professional approach
- Full proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite required
- English required; French an asset
